After a break last year, Dave and Lisa Coe of Mountain Media Systems have stepped up to sponsor the Kids' Tent again in 2011. Check out all the cool things they've got planned for the sprout set.
For Safety's Sake...
We invite you to come and enjoy the autumnal equinox "kid's style" with celebrations of crafts, games, and singing.
Please Note:
The Kids' Tent is not a daycare facility. Parental supervision is required at all times.
Kids' Tent staff are not responsible for individual child safety.
Any and all participation is at participant's own risk.
All scheduled activities are weather-permitting and supplied crafts are on a first-come-first-served basis.
Thank you!
Watermelon Park Fest inspired and recycled coloring books and informal playful activities happening during all kid's tent hours. Specific programming schedule below.

Kids at the Fest FAQ
Do kids need tickets? Kids 12 and under are free. Thereafter they will need a ticket.
Is there a quiet camping area? YES! We have a quiet camping area just outside the performance area where excessive noise is not permitted after 11pm or before 8am. Understand that the edges of this area will not be as quiet as the interior area.
Is there babysitting on site? No. While we do have a playground and a Kids' Tent for kids' entertainment, parents are responsible for their children at all times.
Can kids participate in workshops or jams? Of course, if they can behave appropriately and not disrupt the event, children are welcome to attend all events at Park Fest.
Do any vendors sell items for kids? Yes, Boomtown hoops sells hula hoops and toys and some of our other vendors sell children's size clothing and toys.
Can children play in the river? Yes, as long as parents are responsible for there safety. We recommend water shoes and flotation devices because the current can be strong if it has rained recently. The Park Store also rents tubes, canoes and kayaks that can be used for a leisurely family float.
